THE DIDACHE
CHRISTS TEACHINGS THROUGH THE DICIPLES
"THE TWO WAYS"

This website is Amazing Awesome Incredible and Under Construction

On behalf of the Didache Fellowship, we would like to extend a warm embrace and a deep appreciation for visiting our website.   The fellowship presents to you, three primary goals.
First is the Didache.  The original Didache was written approximately 50 A.D.  Over the next 2000 years, the church has matured, and many changes have taken place. However, Christology has not.  The Didache (Revised) addresses those changes and other issues that have taken place over the past twenty centuries.
Second is the teachings.  Within the Didache are several themes that should be an instructional aid to assist the catechumen to fully understand a foundational understanding of the Lord’s teachings within the Didache.
Third  is Discipleship.  To put into practice a healthy and robust teacher/disciple relationship.  To assist the disciple in weeding out all the false gospels, preachers, and others who prey on the members of the body of Christ.

The Lords Prayer

According to the Apostles, we are to pray this prayer three times a day. In the old testament, Daniel and King David prayed three times a day. The Didache also instructs us to pray the Lord’s Prayer three times a day. Prayer is the most powerful force we have. The Lord’s Prayer is a beautiful template in teaching us how to pray.

Love Never Fails

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.

Seeking righteousness

For the kingdom of God is not food and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.  “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”  Righteousness is the yoke of Christ.  It is his yoke, that will lead you into the Kingdom of God.  Our daily cross is the Beatitudes. The light of Fathers glory is our royal priesthood.
